Is AERI as an initiative, institute, or community embodying the values and building the necessary social infrastructure needed to nurture Black, Latine, and Indigenous  participation both at the institute and in the field of archives?  Put another way, where are the Black and Brown archivists? Why are there so few at AERI and what work would we have to do for them to see it as a place \u201c to be themselves and see themselves?\u201d How could that extend to the larger field of archives?<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
