Thursday, December 3rd 5:00PM, Grad student lounge (Lasserre 204)
This Thursday at 5:00, the Art History Students Association is hosting a coffee house with our department’s graduate students. This is an opportunity to meet fellow Art History undergrads, as well as get to know students working towards MAs and Phds in both Art History and Curatorial Studies. Come with all of your questions and curiosities about grad school, and enjoy some free coffee and snacks while engaging in a discussion about where your pursuits in academia may lead you. Whether you are already applying to programs, or just curious to see what grad school is all about, a casual information session such as this is the perfect place to have answered all your questions about the application process, how graduate programs are structured, information about different universities, or the graduate study workload and lifestyle.
Friday, December 4th 5:00 PM, Lasserre Lobby
On Friday, December 4th, celebrate the last day of classes by joining the Art History Students Association on a visit to the Koerner art gallery to see the Visual Arts 480-Advanced Seminar course’s exhibition of final works. After the show, we will be heading to Koerners Pub for some drinks to celebrate the end of the semester.
Thanks to all of you that have been out to our events. Hopefully movies and researching tips have helped you to balance out your school lives! We are currently working on our monthly newsletter and all settling into writing our own papers and finishing up projects, so we’ll probably be a little less present. If you have any questions or comments please contact us! We’re all up for procrastinating a little by responding.
