Writing Clinic

During the term, the VRC hosts a weekly drop-in writing clinic for art history undergraduate students.

These in-person clinics provide an opportunity for you to receive critical commentary on the structure of your paper, including assistance with the thesis statement and argument. The clinic will not, however, provide specific ideas or content for papers. We will also help you find and access library resources for your research including how to access online databases and reference guides. Additionally, the clinic can assist with citation management and styles.

For the 2022 Winter term, the schedule is as follows:

Thursday (1-2pm).

The clinic will begin the second week of winter term (week of September 12) and will run until December 1.

The clinics are held in Lasserre 206 and no registration is required.

Please contact us at ahva.vrc@ubc.ca if you have any questions.
