Summary: Robotics are the future. It’s plain and simple. Right now robotics are replacing jobs that is resulting in saving enormous labor costs. But it is much more than that as I will elaborate on and add to.
I believe robotics truly are the future for a multitude of reasons. But before I talk about those reasons, let me first say that it is predicted that 1 in 3 jobs will be replaced by some kind of software, robot or smart machine by 2025. That is an unimaginable idea for most of us to comprehend. Cashier? No longer need one. Restaurant Server? Nope. Janitor? Not anymore. This is not just for labor intensive jobs, which may be classified as “boring”. Jobs that required complex thinking will soon be replaced by software that is able to be more efficient and effective than any human possible. That being said, there always two sides to a story. While it is beneficial and cost-saving for robotics to replaced humans in certain areas, there are specific positions which require a humans specialties, qualities like emotion which cannot be comprehended by robotics. Yet. I believe this train should be rode for as long as it is beneficial to society as a whole. Robotics is truly amazing and combined with the human mind, great things can be achieved.
