As a Data Scientist, I built software online aimed at facilitating these newly discovered models and tested them on both scientists and science journalists. The experiments yielded positive results and I’m continuing further research by expanding into the area of Information Science and Human-Computer Interactions at UBC. The results look promising and a few papers based on my findings received awards.

Prior to my current employment in research, I was the president of my university's Biology Society, volunteered with Vancouver's Hummingbird Monitoring Network, and taught children about ecology at Vancouver's Ecology Centre.
