In this peer review assignment, students were tasked with providing constructive feedback on a fellow team member’s definition. As part of the formal report proposal and memo assignment, students were tasked with identifying a problem within their own community and devising a practical solution for it. Subsequently, students were required to compose a memo addressed to the professor outlining their proposed solution for approval. A progress report and an outline of the formal report were subsequently submitted, providing an overview of the report’s progress and its anticipated structure. This assignment served the purpose of honing students’ research skills and providing practice in technical writing within a business context, allowing them to enhance their ability to conduct thorough research and effectively communicate their findings in a professional manner.
