In this assignment, the class was tasked with writing a peer review of a teammate’s Definition Assignment. This was the first peer review written in the course. I found the peer review process to be very helpful in improving my own writing. In reviewing others’ work, I was able to identify good ideas that I could incorporate in future assignments.
In this instance, I reviewed my teammate Trisha’s definitions assignment. I thought that Trisha did an excellent job. I did manage to identify a few areas for improvement. The peer review was organized in such a way that it allowed for comments on first impressions, organization, and then each of the sections within the assignment. This was a method of peer review that I was introduced to during this course. I found that it was helpful for organizing ideas, and communicating specific, actionable suggestions for improvement.
