Breaking news has come out recently that some of the top free mobile applications of Android are associated with substantial security issues and privacy risks as well. They tend to monitor your behaviors as they share unencrypted date instead of providing entertainment solely.
In my opinion, we do need to take some time to read the permissions of installing new applications instead of skipping it quickly. Nowadays, more and more people are purchasing smartphone, and they tend to keep their private photos or even work information on their devices; so there is great risk for users which allows the personal information being shared with other third parties.
By which way did they get our information? A recent research has indicated that entertainment apps are most likely to track for user location and share data with third parties. There are risks, of course. Customers have to be sure the policies are genuine, we should double check the permissions before admitting to upload the apps. For example, Apps like Renren, Facebook, Map can to great extent monitor our behaviors by searching our locations.
Furthermore, Appthority released the information that iPhone apps even steal more user data than Android apps.
