<\/p>\nIt was not until I started working at my new job a little more than 3 months ago that I truly experienced the power of marketing. It was then I began to see that the only way for businesses to survive nowadays in such a competitive market, is distinguishing themselves from others– through marketing.<\/p>\n

Along with other hundreds of places in Richmond, \u00a0my workplace provides nail services. ..Yet, why is it that our store is doing so well that we will be opening a new store just before summer, when our flagship store in Steveston only newly opened in August?<\/p>\n
I could hardly believe the popularity when I first started working. I’ve never been a regular to any nail salon, and when I do.. It is usually only due to convenience. So I found my answer when I learned how much time the owner spends marketing our store, along with the specialists that she has hired to help us target our market, creating the ultimate marketing strategy– incorporating all of the 4 P’s.<\/p>\n
Target Market (STP): Promotion, Product, Price, Place (Distribution)<\/p>\n
We run our promotions aggressively– with very low prices but in such a way that customers are able to try out other of our services (which they end up coming back for). We also have our own discount cards.. and a Groupon that has sold over 700.\u00a0We present our products as top of the line, and 100% organic. Our services are efficient and completely hygenic in a chic environment.\u00a0Our prices were made based on the demographics and extensive marketing research. Surrounding us were many beautiful spas–but they were places that were simply not ideal in terms of financials or timeliness. This is where we come in.. providing services that are\u00a0hygienic, affordable and quick.<\/p>\n
