At the beginning of the M.Ed. program, we are asked to determine three goals we would like to achieve that will help to guide our learning. I came into this program with the overall intention of becoming a better classroom teacher. As I had just graduated with my B.Ed. in primary/junior education, I felt unprepared to support and teach students with exceptionalities. Throughout this program, as well as undergoing my first year as a full-time teacher, I learned that my interests lay in some key areas in which have evolved my way of thinking, teaching and learning.
Learning Goal #1: Planning for Inclusive Practices
Learning Goal #2: Supports for Students with Exceptionalities
