Download the Explore AR App from the <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/ca\/app\/explore-ar\/id1256212099\">App Store<\/a> (for iPhone) or <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=io.motive.explorear\">Google Play<\/a>\u00a0(for Android)<\/p>\n<p>2. Allow location and camera permissions<\/p>\n<p>3. Download the app content. Do this while<strong> connected to wifi<\/strong>. It is important that you do this before the lab because it can take a long time.<\/p>\n<p>5. Prepare for an outdoor field trip:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Bring a pencil\/pen and a printed copy of the lab assignment<\/li>\n<li>Wear waterproof and comfortable walking shoes<\/li>\n<li>Bring a jacket and warm layers for cold or wet weather<\/li>\n<li>Go with a buddy for safety<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>6. Make your way to the trailhead:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>The trailhead is at the Spanish Trail entrance of Pacific Spirit Park<\/li>\n<li>This is just east of the intersection of College Highroad &amp; Acadia Road<\/li>\n<li>This is a 10 min walk from the UBC Bus Loop and a 20 min walk from the Geography building<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tips for best experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enable cellular data during the walking tour<\/li>\n<li>Use earbuds or headphones<\/li>\n<li>Keep the app running by touching the screen periodically.
