Common in meadows and open forests at mid-elevations, up to the alpine. Common in BC&#8217;s Coast Mountains and the Northern Cascades.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Photo<\/strong>: A south facing slope with thin soils above the N Cinnabar River headwaters in South Chilcotin Mtns Provincial Park, north of Lake Tyaughton, with an approx. elevation of 2000m.
