First year has come and gone in the wink of an eye. It is crazy to think that tomorrow is my last day of classes as a freshman (aside from the summer term). As I reflect on my last seven months at Sauder, the lessons learned and people that I have met will be taken close to heart as I move onto my second year. Interestingly, Comm299 has been there (well, it was a required course) from day 1, with the Business Speaking portion, and then the Resume/Interview sector. It has been an enjoyable three months with Philippe, Sunny (my TA), and the many people I met on this 299 journey. Besides from having a polished and professional resume, the most relevant lesson I take with me is the accumulated stash of advice from my TA. Here’s a shout out to you, Sunny. Thanks for being such a fun AND helpful TA. You’re easy to approach and have informed us (well, at least me) so much about what to expect as we embark on our journey into the real world.
Your stories were entertaining, your music was pretty good, and your advice has been so helpful and informative.
