Implementation

To implement the new technology, the CIO, CTO, and team will spearhead this project (see Who’s Involved).

First, DataMed will contact Microsoft Dynamics to develop a solution and contract. Microsoft Dynamics and DataMed will collaborate with the IT consultants in analyzing the business to develop the solution. They well then integrate Microsoft Dynamics to current existing database so all information and data is collected into one central repository. The system will be integrated through an agile development method. Allowing for changes and additions for the system.

All employees must participate in mandatory training sessions lead by the IT staff who have been implementing the system and trained by the database programmer and integrator. Week long Training will be done through different departments, starting with the administration department. After each training session, there will be a feedback and analysis session for improvement and change.

The IT Consultants will be working on the integration of this system until it is fully integrated and all employees are trained. They will also be kept in close contact and relation for any additional difficulties that may arise that the CIO or CTO can not solve.

This follows the Kotter’s 8 Phases of Change. (Appendix 8). We propose that this will be a 2 year project. (Appendix 9)
