As Is: An in house/in person interaction with patients ONLY at the Medical Office – either than via phone or the informational website. (Appendix 3)

To Be: Leverage IT to create a patient relations systems extending the Electronic Health Record to further open communication in person, and continue outside of the physical DataMed Medical Clinic. Gathering, processing, and analyzing the information through business intelligence will provide DataMed with a tactical approach in forecasting patient needs, wants, and provide patients with guidance. This will create a more effective relationship with patients and a more patient oriented operation process.
