With this project, the organizational structure of DataMed will slightly change. DataMed will need an individual to ensure the system runs smoothly as individuals as well as together. As well as to make sure it maintains a high level of security and integrate the data with the other data sources within the company. There will be an addition in the Cheif suite with a Cheif Technology Officer. This individual will work alongside the CIO who understands the flow of information by providing tech support and integration.

Currently, DataMed has a CIO – Richard Bellamy and 2 individuals who work with him to maintain the IT system and database and electronic health record.

Richard Bellamy and his team will head this project and facilitate the entirety of the plan. Working with consultants, DataMed will hire 4 IT consultants to implement the system and 2 IT consultants to integrate the system and monitor it’s process.
