Hello! Welcome to my English 301 Web Folio. The purpose of this site is to showcase a collection of my writing work produced throughout my journey in this course. Additionally you will find an application package for a potential co-op job position, complete with a searchable resume.
English 301 99C is a uniquely offered online English course. There is a strong focus on teaching professional and technical writing skills in the context of changing technologies and globalized communications. The course covers a range of topics, including writing techniques, protocols, and ethics; all the while maximizing the utility of being offered online. Participants in the course will create an online portfolio (like this one) to display many of the writing works that will be completed throughout this course. The course is designed to encourage students to write independently, whilst also promoting inclusiveness and collaborations. Students from a variety of backgrounds, across a multitude of disciplines come together in this course to review, collaborate and learn from one another. There is a strong emphasis on reflecting on writing, as students review and reflect each-others works in addition to self-editing their own work.
