Motivation can strike at the most unusual time and place. Artists in the past, present and from all around the world find motivation from internal factors (intrinsic) and external factors (extrinsic). Artists including culinary workers, athletes, models and canvas painters at any given second are thinking of ways to create new goals or bodies of work. I am conceived that motivation relates to everyday life. In saying so, intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation coincide with one another at all times.
Many say we were put on this earth for a purpose. This source of “purpose”, and question draw blanks in the ever wondering minds of humans. Many are motivated by the abyss in which their lives fall into while searching for this… purpose. This purpose motivates the soul inside of the individual generating an intrinsic drive. As society goes on to find this purpose, whether it be short term, or long term, the intrinsic factors of self-ambition and external factors of life mold the very person you are.
From the moment you are born, whether you like it or not, your mind is being peppered with ounces of information at any given moment. These external factors influence ones behavior and help initiate goal setting. Extrinsic factors create intrinsic motivation which results in one taking steps to accomplish their objective. The everyday experience of life which happened yesterday, shape you as a person today.
Motivation is a word waiting to be found. You may find it beside you, left or right, or inside of you. Just because you found motivation once doesn’t mean it’s necessarily going to be there forever. Find out what motivates you and be the best you possible. Don’t try to be someone else, that person is already taken. Be original. Be yourself.
