Here are some of the acrylic paintings produced by the grade 9, 10, 11 & 12’s. I was so proud of all of them and of all the students in the class. They worked hard and challenged themselves to do better and to see more clearly the information in their reference images. There were moments of struggle and frustration for everyone at some point in their process, but we took a step back, took a hard look and continued making critical visual decisions. A few of the students surprised themselves. They trusted the process and some of my suggestions, they eventually started to trust their own instincts and produced work they were proud of too.
