a Pantene commercial which has no products presented in the ad. The advertise relies on a story of a deaf girl who has dreams in music but is rejected by people  for being different. The girl in the video has been silent, shy, nobody barely notice her, however, at the end of the ad, when she was performing, her image surprisingly significant and attractive. i think my hair on the back of my neck stand up.. lol

Pantene brand name appears at the end. though the brand name is never mentioned in the ad, i can clearly see what characters the brand is selling: shine,unique, courage, attractiveness.

i saw this advertise a few years ago. today, when i was randomly looking through classmates’ blogs, i recognized this ad on the first sight, and i am still willing to watch it one more time. i would say it is definitely one of my favourate advertises.

What’s up everyone, we are really stoked to announce our involvement in Last One Stands 2010, Vancouver’s biggest Hip Hop, Popping, Locking, 1-on-1 battle, event brought to you by Abe & Lockin Kuan. We were asked by our good friends Abe and Kuan to come up with the look of the event. We always jump at the chance when we can to help people throw amazing events. Especially the dance events in Vancouver, there is such a vast range of talent here, from the old school cats to the new generations multiply that by style, background and even culture. The result is something that never disappoints.

We wanted to create something that brought the same rawness we see in the battles. Something that looked fucking intense & rad.

Last One Stands 2010 is happening this December 18th. You’re not gonna wanna miss this huge event, they are flying in 3 international judges and 3 world level battle guests – Vancouver, San Francisco, New York, San Diego, and Taiwan all under one roof.
