Last month, I took some really pretty pictures of cherry blossoms at the Nitobe Memorial Garden (UBC). It’s a serene place and highly recommended for anyone who wants to take a walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery (Bonus: UBC students get free entry with UBC Card). The garden isn’t all just pretty scenery, in fact, it is a story about life, everything in the garden has a meaning for its existence. Personally, I really enjoy going there to de-stress, especially around exam season! I find that the air there is refreshing and really helps to clear my mind. My favourite scene would be when there is a strong breeze and the cherry blossom petals are dancing in the air – I actually saw that scene on my recent trip, but I didn’t have the photography skills to capture that moment.
