My Application Package is designed for acceptance into Dental School at the University of British Columbia (UBC). The application for the September 2018 cycle, which I will be applying for, has not been released yet; however, it generally does not change from year to year. I chose to apply for admission into dental school because I am very passionate to work with children in medical settings and the idea of pursuing a career in paediatric dentistry seems like a very enjoyable and rewarding career. Résumé:
The résumé summarizes my objectives, education, volunteering experiences, work experiences, extra-curricular activities, achievements, and interests.
Cover Letter:
The cover letter is written to Vicki Koulouris, Manager of Admissions at UBC. It highlights some of the relevant sections of my résumé, such as my experiences with kids, my work in medical environments, and my level of qualification for admission.
Reference Letter Requests:
Three reference letter requests are written to the following professional individuals who know some of my professional activities best: (1) my high school wrestling coach and current colleague, (2) the Director of Volunteering Resources at BC Children’s Hospital, and (3) one of my best professors at UBC.
