The name is Arman Qureshi. I’m a third year student here at UBC, I’m majoring in History and after that I hope to either go to graduate school or enter the teaching program. I am Iranian, born and raised in Tehran and I roughly speak three languages: English, Farsi and French. I chose to study History because I’v always loved History; ever since I was a kid I always loved reading, watching or playing anything that was about history or was historically themed. When it comes to studying history, i bring to the table years of my own independent historical research, plus my enthusiasm for studying historical topics. My career goal in the end is to become a history teacher; either at a highschool or college level.
