Directed drawing is a wonderful way for students to create the same picture with a unique and individual touch. There is no piece that would end up looking identical. As an educator it is important to allow the students to make their version of whatever the image may be. Of course, the steps must be followed, as per the activity of directed drawing. However, giving flexibility it is imperative to students to develop their own vision, their own piece of art regardless if it is directed drawing.
