The year following my graduation is one full of great change. Up until recently, I did not have a straight path of direction. Certainly, I want to utilize all aspects of my skills and knowledge acquired through my degree, but where I will take those skills is still unbeknown to me.
For the first two months after I graduate, I am going to move back to Powell River and work for two months at Save-On-Foods, in the bakery. I have been employed there since 2006, and I love it. It is part of my growing. And it allows me to work hard at something I am very good at. This will allow me to earn some money to put towards my debt, and to prepare for the next chapter of my life, organizing both personal and professional aspects. Also, I can take care of my mom for awhile.
After the two months, I will search for a dental hygiene job. I will maintain my current housing in Vancouver, so I will have somewhere to stay. But I will extend my search through all of British Columbia. Ultimately I would like to work in Vancouver for a couple of years before returning to my hometown.
