But please see <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/asia501\/support\/\">Support<\/a> if you need to miss a class.<\/p>\n<h2>Annotated Research Guide (25%)<\/h2>\n<p>Due by the end of <strong>April 9<\/strong> (to be submitted through <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/asia501\/course-tools\/#turnitin\">Turnitin<\/a>). Students should identify a research area (e.g., early Chinese thought, Tang\u2013Song poetry, Ming\u2013Qing fiction, history of borderlands, etc.) and prepare an annotated research guide (30\u201335 entries; format flexible).
