Topics will be guided in part by students\u2019 research interests, with particular attention to the expanding and increasingly important universe of digital resources.<\/p>\n<h2>Learning Objectives<\/h2>\n<p>By the end of the term, students will be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>identify and critically evaluate key research tools used in classical Chinese studies;<\/li>\n<li>demonstrate practical experience in producing an annotated translation of a classical Chinese text.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Assessment of Learning<\/h2>\n<p>This course follows the <a href=\"https:\/\/vancouver.calendar.ubc.ca\/campus-wide-policies-and-regulations\/grading-practices\/introduction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">grading practices<\/a> outlined in the Academic Calendar.
