Remembering<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Recall previously learned information<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Verbs: Recall, identify, list, define, locate, name, define,&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Example: What does the equation x<sup>2<\/sup> + y<sup>2<\/sup> = r <sup>2<\/sup> describe?<\/li>\n<li>Exam question types to consider: multiple choice, matching, and fill-in-the-blank<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2. Understanding<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Comprehending what facts from the &#8220;remembering&#8221; level mean<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Verbs: Describe, explain, clarify, paraphrase, summarize, discuss&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Example: Explain why the Pythagoras&#8217;s theorem and and a circle share the same equation.<\/li>\n<li>Exam question types to consider: multiple choice, matching, fill-in-the-blank, short answer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>3. Apply<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Apply facts, rules, and concepts to do something useful.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Verbs: Calculate, solve, sketch, determine, use, implement, diagram,&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Example: Compute the y-coordinates corresponding to x = 0.5 for a circle centred at O with radius 1<\/li>\n<li>Exam question types to consider: calculations, short answer, sketches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>4. Analyze<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Break down information into component parts and use that information to do something useful<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Verbs: Classify, compare, determine, diagnose, categorize, organize,&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Example: Given the following three coordinates, determine the centre and radius of the corresponding circle: (2.29,1.53), (2.73,1.00), (1.41,-1.96)<\/li>\n<li>Exam question types to consider: calculations, short answer, essay, identify the error<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>5. Evaluating<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Make or defend judgements based on evidence and criteria<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Verbs: Assess, conclude, critique, justify, appraise, defend, test,&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Example: Judge which shape from several provided is most circular and provide a justification for that choice.<\/li>\n<li>Exam question types to consider: essay, recommend a choice and defend, identify the error<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>6.
