Hello,

Jen back in October produced a blog discussing the fact that Satrapi was forced to wear the Hijab and her discontent for this. Jen also made a great connection to the Canadian election that was approaching quickly and the role that the traditional headdress had. The most interesting part of the blog in my mind was when Jen begs the question of how accepting we as global citizens should be of this current issue. Jen does a great job of conducting further research into the religious meaning behind the Hijab and what it means to people who wear it with mixed results. overall this blog is great because it not only shows how Jen feels about an issue that is relevant to our current situation in society but also how people who wear the headdress feel about it. keep up the good work
