The Faculty Advisor for this course is Dr. Jenny Peterson, an Instructor for the Department of Political Science.
Dr. Peterson received her PhD from the University of Manchester in International Development and Post Conflict Reconstruction, where she also taught in the Humanitarian & Conflict Response Institute as a Lecturer. Her research broadly includes the politics of international aid, liberal peacebuilding and most recently, divergences from the Liberal model that account for further diversity and innovation. Dr. Peterson’s most recent publication is “Building a Peace Economy? Liberal Peacebuilding and the Development-Security Industry”, published by the Manchester University Press in 2014. Her offices are located in Vantage College and the Political Science Department in Buchanan C.
