As such, by April 2018 you will be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><i>situate<\/i><\/b> development project outlines within a development theory and model to <b><i>identify<\/i><\/b> development goals\/incentives;<\/li>\n<li><b><i>create<\/i><\/b> development effectiveness indicators and measurement tools for intra &#8211; Global South development projects;<\/li>\n<li><b><i>conduct<\/i><\/b> research collating a variety of sources to <b><i>appraise<\/i><\/b> and <b><i>communicate<\/i><\/b> development needs, possible plans to address them, and limitations for implementation;<\/li>\n<li><b><i>design<\/i><\/b> modules for collaboration and cooperation, within their development project proposal, understanding of international relations, and class engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In addition to the main learning goals, this course also has a few academic and skill development goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Analysis of GS development and cooperation in terms of international development theories and models<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Build alternative notions to understand South &#8211; South development as a framework<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gain peer-review and project proposal appraisal skills (facilitation and moderation \/ feedback \/ evaluation)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Design a development project policy with given parameters resulting in experience with policy research and writing, presentations and impact assessments.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Learning Objectives guide the process of learning in all courses by stating the goals for all students&#8217; learning in a course.
