This study was conducted by Gavin Adams and Daniel Alphonso. Both are students at the University of British Columbia, with a passion for the outdoors. Adams and Alphonso both prioritize safety while recreating in the back country. This project is mainly taken as a learning opportunity for the two of them to deepen their understanding of snow science and terrain analysis.
