Yoga for Teachers

Teaching is emotional labour. Every class, every moment, even after school, teachers selflessly give their hearts to others. The energy required to teach is substantial, which means it’s essential to ensure teachers have the energy to give in the first place.

Yoga for Teachers is a community of practice designed to bring educators together for courage, compassion, and connection. It is a space to feel understood. To let go. To listen to others and to listen to ourselves. To re-centre and re-charge.

Starting April 18th, every Sunday from 8:00-9:00pm PST a live practice will be held over Zoom. During the session, you can expect mindful breathing, meditation rooted in self-compassion, and an asana practice with modifications available. Each session will have an intention to guide your mindset through the school week. After the practice, you can expect to feel peaceful, grounded, and inspired.
