Welcome to my reflection blog!

My name is Ilona Barran and I am a teacher candidate in the Core French and French Immersion Elementary Cohort at UBC. For my Community Field Experience as part of my education program, I requested to spend my three weeks at École Cedardale. The school graciously accepted my placement and I am extremely lucky to be part of this education adventure! École Cedardale is a French Immersion public school now also an IB (International Baccalaureate) Candidate School.  This blog will catalogue my thoughts and experiences throughout the duration of my CFE.
