A. Goal
General: – To meaningfully incorporate technology into the classroom that will provide enhancement and transformation through substitution, augmentation, modification, and redefinition.
- To develop lesson plans that utilize the use of technology in the classroom
- To develop strategies for communicating classroom material and subject matter through the use of technology (ie. Informational videos, Smartboard tools, music, etc)
- To develop opportunities for students to convey their learning and understanding through multimodal projects that include the use of videos, ipads, and computer programs.
- Areas of Focus
General: – The following applies to number 1-3 above.
- Professional growth related to the implementation of technology meaningfully into the classroom.
- Further research into specific apps or programs that students may use to communicate learning.
C. Activities
- Implement student projects that include the use of transformative technology.
- Incorporate technology into the daily classroom to enhance curriculum. (Ie. Ways subject material is presented and means of completing activities)
- Provide opportunities for students to work in groups to explore the potential of provided technology and to work together to present information in their own unique way.

- Creation of specific lesson plans or units that employ the use of technology at all stages of the SAMR model (substitution, augmentation, modification, and redefinition).
- Reflect on students’ performance on projects that involve technology to see if my teaching methods were clear and my choice of technology was appropriate.
