As we have come to the end of Unit 2, I am proud of my writing and assignments that I have produced. Im able to reflect back on all of the components of this unit and see my strengths and areas still needing improvement. <\/span><\/p>\n

The first assignment was the creation of the LinkedIn profile. The biggest difficulty I found while completing this was talking about myself. LinkedIn included subsections including skills and talents, I did not feel comfortable listing a set of skills. I think aspects of Linkedin can be very useful, in particular the ease of networking it allows you to do. I found it as a great start to a resume, since you are gathering and entering educational and work experience. It would be very easy to take what you enter into LinkedIn and convert it into a strong resume. <\/span><\/p>\n

The report proposal was something completely new to me so at first I found it rather intimidating. Once I was able to find the example in my textbook I was off and running. The format and the writing was very straightforward. The hardest part of the assignment was finding a topic that was of interest, and fit the model required. Setting up my research was also a first. I knew the type of data I wanted to include in my paper, and had to give some thought to the questions that is required to support and give proper recommendations and solutions to the problem I have brought forward. I feel once I am able to pass along my survey and begin to receive data, I know the direction I want my paper to take. <\/span><\/p>\n

For the proposal, I found my peer review to be difficult. My partner did not follow the same format as I, which led to a fair bit of editing and adjusting that I had to work through in order to give him the best feedback possible. I also found his topic to be one that was not appropriate for a research paper (based on the assignment details). Throughout reviewing peers work I have learnt a fair bit about my own writing. I see my strength in format and sentence structure. I am also able to identify the strengths in my peers and take away from their papers what they excel at and apply it to my own paper. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This unit went by extremely quickly, hard to imagine we are halfway through the course. <\/span><\/p>\n
