Mr.Huang Nubo, the 129th richest man in China, decides to bid on 3%, or 30,000 hectares of Iceland’s land to build an “eco resort.” Iceland, being a small country, isn’t used to such large offers like this. Also, there is much skepticism about Mr.Nubo’s offer due to his links to the Chinese government. Although Nubo denies working with the government, many analysts argue that Iceland should take caution to Nubo’s offer.
