• Designed and implemented automation as an alternative to a manual recharge process for past due invoices to lower manual effort and increase revenue
• Handled project ambiguity by meeting with relevant stakeholders to identify requirements and
challenges that the project faces
• Deployed automation infrastructure and orchestration workflow using TypeScript and AWS CDK

Site Reliability Engineer Co-op January 2021 – August 2021
Visier Inc., Vancouver, BC
• Implemented a suite of end-to-end tests in Ruby that ran hourly against developer and production deployments through an ECS task
• Reduced monthly AWS costs by creating an automated job that deletes unused AMIs and EBS
snapshots that are older than 30 days
• Utilized Terraform to tag AWS resources to enable the ability to filter resources for billing and
monitoring purposes

Software Development Engineer Intern September 2020 – December 2020
Amazon, Vancouver, BC
• Designed and implemented a set of RESTful APIs backed by API Gateway and AWS Lambda
that automates the trouble ticket resolution process
• Implemented logic to allow AWS Lambda to query databases such as DynamoDB, Elasticsearch
and Redshift and to format a JSON response to serve to users
• Provisioned and deployed AWS resources using CloudFormation templates in YAML to serve as the infrastructure for the APIs
• Authored API proposal and design documents to highlight the use cases of the APIs and cost
effectiveness of possible architectural solutions
