I am pretty sure the story develops during Christmas. I am thinking that is about a guys who is into video games and is not sure what he loves more, his family or video games.

This is from the Christmas episode of Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku. The girl who loves BL comics is wondering whether to just play videogames together or arrange a Christmas date with her boyfriend. The red-haired coworker is overworking himself to meet productivity deadlines before the year is over, so his girldfriend (who dresses up as fictional male characters for fun) suspects that this year they will again not be able to spend Christmas togerther. The man who loves videogames (dating the BL comic-loving character) and his girlfriend run into the boyfriend’s younger brother, who is dressed as a santa and giving out drink samples outside a Starbucks. The little brother remarks that his christmas wish is to make people around the world happy. The three happily reminisce about the times they spent together when they were young.
At Christmastime, the girl who dresses up as male characters and her overworked boyfriend manage to have a nice evening dinner together, and exchange gifts.
Boy, was this challenging to represent! I would have thought a visual medium like comics or cartoons would be easy to convey with other pictoral symbols, and yet, the details make all the difference! You definitely got the general message though, congratulations!
I was going to guess a game show about love… i.e. the Bachelor!
