Hey guys, I\u2019m Binta and I\u2019m using this blog to document my UBC Life and it hasn\u2019t started yet, but I\u2019m so ready for it to begin!\u00a0 I\u2019m going to be studying Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology at UBC, and my timetable is pretty depressing in terms of the fact that its PACKED.\u00a0\u00a0 But I\u2019m ready for it, and all the other Science \/LFS students\u00a0 have a similar timetable so that should ease the pain, and the Engineers have it even worse, so I\u2019m going to brave it out!<\/p>\n
In terms of connecting with UBC students before it all begins, Facebook is an amazing tool, and I\u2019ve got to say I\u2019ve never seen so much diversity in my life! It\u2019s amazing, kids from India, Morocco, Egypt, the States, Australia, everywhere!\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait to be immersed in that. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Right now my current UBC related drama is Books!\u00a0 I do not want to purchase them all from the Bookstore.\u00a0 Unless it\u2019s a custom UBC book like the one for chem. 121 -____- I\u2019m going to hunt them down online. \u00a0\u00a0So far I\u2019ve found some good deals, found a way to save around 300: D so hopefully I get it done by first week at UBC!<\/p>\n
So I\u2019m 2 weeks away from UBC and I found out a while back that I\u2019d be staying at Place Vanier!\u00a0 Known as the more reserved dorm, but I\u2019m a firm believer that people make the experience!\u00a0 And I plan to have hella fun at UBC as well as get those grades I need for med school.\u00a0 Right now I\u2019m busy counting down the days till my new journey at UBC.<\/p>\n
