{"id":112,"date":"2011-12-19T17:23:10","date_gmt":"2011-12-20T00:23:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/biochar\/?page_id=112"},"modified":"2011-12-21T14:49:38","modified_gmt":"2011-12-21T21:49:38","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/biochar\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My name is Ryan Davis and I am a PhD student at the University of British Columbia in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ires.ubc.ca\/\">RMES<\/a> program studying carbon sequestration technologies. \u00a0I have a masters in applied anthropology and a masters in environmental health. \u00a0I enjoy reading, climbing, sailing, spending time outdoors, and talking about biochar!<\/p>\n<p>I am doing work on biochar and its ability to sequester carbon while also improving soil fertility.
