Program<\/h3>\n<h4>Pre Project<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>City of Vancouver has a goal of becoming the Greenest City in the world by 2020 (<a href=\"https:\/\/vancouver.ca\/green-vancouver\/greenest-city-action-plan.aspx\">Greenest City Action Plan<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>One of the ten goals is in the area of <a href=\"https:\/\/vancouver.ca\/green-vancouver\/access-to-nature.aspx\">Access to Nature<\/a> with a targets to increase the biodiversity of our natural and urban spaces<\/li>\n<li>In 2014 the City of Vancouver developed: An Environmental Education &amp; Stewardship Action Plan (aka Rewilding Vancouver)\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/biodiversity\/files\/2018\/08\/enviromental-education-stewardship-action-plan.pdf\">enviromental-education-stewardship-action-plan<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-125\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/biodiversity\/files\/2018\/08\/rewilding-kit-sale-S18-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/>\u00a0\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-124\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/biodiversity\/files\/2018\/08\/rewilding-kits2-S18-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/biodiversity\/files\/2018\/08\/rewilding-kits2-S18-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/biodiversity\/files\/2018\/08\/rewilding-kits2-S18-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/biodiversity\/files\/2018\/08\/rewilding-kits2-S18.jpg 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Group Project<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>A group of EfS M.Ed. students accumulated research on rewilding efforts, locally to globally, discussed our plans with the City&#8217;s Parks Board staff, assembled a variety of edible native plants into packs of four, sold them for a discount of $10 at the Parks&#8217;
