Two graduate student Teaching Assistant Teaching awards are presented each year.
This year’s recipients were Miranda Meents (Botany) and Gigi Lau (Zoology) for their excellence in teaching and for the valuable contributions they have made to undergraduate education. Sarah Jenkin (Zoology) and Greg Owens (Zoology) received honourable mention. Congratulations!!
Miranda not only attended the Sixth Annual Biology Teaching and Learning Retreat, but she presented. Easy to see why she received the teaching award – awesome job Miranda!!!
