Disability, Trust, and Decision Making at Work
This seminar explores how disability bias shapes the workplace, from job ads and hiring decisions to negotiation, disclosure, and the growing use of AI. Drawing on a series of published and ongoing studies, it offers practical insight into how employers can build trust, reduce stigma, and make fairer decisions.
About the presenter
Mason Ameri, PhD, is Professor of Professional Practice at Rutgers Business School. His research focus is disability employment and how Fortune 500 companies recruit, retain, and advance people with disabilities. He has worked on disability access reform with organizations, such as Deutsche Bank, Accenture, Salesforce, NFL, HSBC, EY, Hershey, World Bank Group, TEDx, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the National Labor Relations Board. He is the recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching, the Provost’s Award for Excellence in Teaching Innovations, and one of Poets&Quants’ Best 40 Under 40 MBA Professors.
