Webinar: Systems Thinking & Behaviour Change (May 14)

The Research Agency is hosting a webinar exploring the intersection of systems thinking and behaviour change […]

Shared by our friends at BICoP, the New Zealand Aotearoa Behavioural Insights Community of Practice:

Zoom Out: Why your behaviour change strategy isn’t working – and how systems thinking can help

Behavioural science is often criticised for focusing too narrowly on individual behaviour. Yet many of the challenges we work on — from reducing energy emissions to improving cybersecurity or retirement outcomes — can’t be understood through that lens alone.

TRA is hosting a webinar that introduces the fundamentals of systems thinking, shifting attention from individual behaviour to the invisible structures and feedback loops shaping outcomes behind the scenes.

The webinar and panel discussion will explore:

  • A new way to diagnose problems
  • Where to find leverage points for meaningful change
  • How to apply systems thinking in practice

Date: Wednesday May 13, 6-7pm PDT = Thursday 14 May, 1:00pm–2:00pm NZST
