{"id":3486,"date":"2023-04-12T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-04-12T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/biwiki\/?p=3486"},"modified":"2023-04-06T06:09:24","modified_gmt":"2023-04-06T13:09:24","slug":"sjdm-eadm-virtual-symposium-apr-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/biwiki\/2023\/04\/12\/sjdm-eadm-virtual-symposium-apr-21\/","title":{"rendered":"SJDM\/EADM Virtual Symposium (Apr 21)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/sjdm.org\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/sjdm.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Society for Judgment &amp; Decision Making (SJDM)<\/a> and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/eadm.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\">European Association for Decision Making (EADM)<\/a> are pleased to announce the launch of a new joint virtual symposium series, whose goal is to strengthen ties between the two communities. This symposium will take place two to three times a year and will feature researchers from around the world, who will give talks on a single topic that is of interest to both communities. We also hope to have meeting spaces for networking and discussion.<br><br>Our first event will be on the topic of &#8220;Information Processing in Decision Making&#8221; on April 21 at 7-9am PDT.
