Takeaways from Behavioral Economics: Policy Impact and Future Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Behavioral economics, which integrates insights from psychology and economics, has had a growing influence on research and policy. The recently released National Academies\u2019 consensus report <em><a href=\"https:\/\/nap.nationalacademies.org\/catalog\/26874\/behavioral-economics-policy-impact-and-future-directions\">Behavioral Economics: Policy Impact and Future Directions<\/a><\/em> offers an overview of the field\u2019s history and core principles, evidence-based strategies for policy and practice, guidance for strengthening the field and supporting the implementation of tested ideas in real-world settings, and directions for future research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This webinar will feature a 20 minute presentation from Stefano DellaVigna (University of California, Berkeley, and member of the authoring committee for the report) sharing key takeaways from the report.
