In an efolio, artifacts\u00a0represent or symbolize what you\u00a0<strong>know<\/strong>\u00a0or can\u00a0<strong>do.<\/strong>\u00a0For example, you may use a copy of your teaching philosophy written the first week of September and written 8 months later to demonstrate your growth in understanding of (for example) child centered learning.<\/p>\n<p>Examples of artifacts that teacher candidates may include in their efolio are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>philosophy of education<\/li>\n<li>biographical information<\/li>\n<li>sample lessons<\/li>\n<li>handouts<\/li>\n<li>units<\/li>\n<li>curriculum<\/li>\n<li>courses<\/li>\n<li>essays<\/li>\n<li>photos, videos, images<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To upload these artifacts, View instructions to <a title=\"Adding images to pages or posts\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/testingportfolio\/2014\/07\/08\/adding-images-to-pages-or-posts\/\">&#8216;Add Media&#8217;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can further generate a list of potential artifacts by asking yourself:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>What evidence\/artifacts will demonstrate <strong>what you know, what you can do<\/strong> and what are your<strong> values<\/strong>?<\/li>\n<li>What <strong>experiences <\/strong>support your stance?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Remember to Think of evidence in <em>broad<\/em> terms and thus you can collect artifacts from your:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>coursework,<\/li>\n<li>practicum,<\/li>\n<li>undergraduate accomplishments,<\/li>\n<li>co-curricular experiences, and<\/li>\n<li>personal life experiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;font-weight: bold\">Finally, all of this can help to represent who you are.<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>from: https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/portfolio\/what-to-include\/step-2-collecting\/ An initial major task of portfolio development is the gathering and sorting of artifacts.
