The Significance of Employees

This post is based on the Peter Bregman’s “How to Respond to Negativity“. I really enjoyed reading this article because it was very insightful and informative to how to create a stable healthy working environment. Human power is the most valuable asset a business can carry; it provides the ideas and decisions to critical actions companies must undergo, and the physical man power work to creating a successful business. It is crucial for managers and leaders to adopt and create a safe friendly working environment. It allows for loyalty to the company to be built which in return can lower costs and save time; but more importantly it will boost motivation for employees to maximise their productivity.

To summarise the main idea of the article; treating your co-workers and employees the same way you would treat your family is the best way to create the best working environment. People feel at their safest and most comfortable when the environment is the same as their home. They will be constantly reminded of why they are there and what they are there to do. Another way to look at is is Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs;

By achieving the levels above; employees will perform at their best and highest potential.
