Entrepreneurship Finds Jordanian Women

Entrepreneurship is becoming a trending solution of using financial and marketing methods to solve economic problems in various countries. One such an example of entrepreneurship, from the article “Arab Women Turn to Crafts as a Source of Employment”, exploits the craftsmanship of Jordanian woman and transforms that skill into providing Jordanian women (for the first time) with an enjoyable and purpose fulfilling job.

Jordanian women are responsible for strictly two things; taking care of children and household chores. In many cases, like Ms. Qouqas, some Jordanian husbands do not even allow their wives to have a job. After Ms.Qouqas divorced her husband she was able to, with the help of Mr.Omar, take on a job of crocheting various different types of clothing and accessories.

Mr.Omar is the entrepreneur of Sitat Byoot, which has become an organisation helping passionate, determined, and incredibly skilled Jordanian women follow their dreams to being employed and working at a task they love. At the same time, Mr.Omar is decreasing the unemployment rate of the Jordanian economy and filling it’s society with happy women. Financial sources come solely from Mr.Omar, meaning he is desperately in need of investors to sustain the business.

This is true Entrepreneurship.
